H.E. Surangel S. Whipps, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, and Angelique Pouponneau, environmental lawyer and former Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles’ Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust and Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand will discuss oceans policy in a changing climate, and reflect on how the world should navigate this new reality in light of the upcoming High Seas Treaty Negotiation. The webinar is hosted by the Helen Clark Foundation and The Pew Charitable Trusts.
After an opening discussion, there will be a Q&A session where webinar viewers will be able to submit questions for consideration. Kathy Errington, Executive Director of the Helen Clark Foundation, will chair the session and will select questions from the Q&A.
After the Q&A session is over, Tom Dillon, Senior Vice President and head of the Environment portfolio at The Pew Charitable Trusts, will make some closing remarks.
